Writing like your talking to someone

I am blessed to hear the interview of Marie Forleo to Morgan Harper Nichols two days ago.

Morgan, the wonderful woman behind Garden24.co is an artist of all trades. She writes, sings, paint and everything in between.

Within that 40 minute interview that she had with Marie, I was able to gain a lot of tips that I think are all practical and so natural. One of them is writing like your just having a conversation with someone.

The idea is to put in to writing the way you speak with someone.

Yes, as simple as that. After hearing that, it all just clicked to me. That’s how I should write!

And so I have been writing like that the same way ever since (it just started yesterday but I know it will last).

Marie then asked the question about writer’s block. Because essentially, if you write like your having a conversation, there should be no writers block right?

Morgan gave away a very beautiful answer to that. When you feel like your out of words to say, then its time to intake ideas again.

I love it!

There’s a lot that you can learn and get from this interview.

I’m even planning to watch it again myself.

Do you think her style makes sense as what I think?

I would love to hear your thoughts. Maybe you can even make it better?!

You can watch the whole interview with the link I have below.

Wish you enjoy it!
